We would like to offer our complete web-site in English, but at the moment we are only able to provide a selection of the most important parts. In the future we may extend the contents in English.
Created in 1980 as a non-profit organization of nationwide scope, the Spanish Council of Shopping Centres (AECC-Asociación Española de Centros Comerciales) brings together people, professionals, companies and institutions in order to create, design, develop and manage Shopping Centres. It is composed of more than 400 Spanish members and is a Member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) settled in New York.

	Our primary purpose is to assist our members in developing and expanding their businesses by facilitating platforms to promote professional networking, keeping them informed about new developments in the sector and representing their interest vis-à-vis public institutions and the mass media.
For this reason, the AECC offers informative and educational activities:
- Every 2 years we celebrate the Spanish Conference of Shopping Centres and the Trade Fair. During the Conference, the AECC rewards the best Shopping Centres, Retailers and Marketing Campaigns. - Conferences and Seminars, where professionals of the industry share their knowledge and experiences of present issues of the Shopping centres. - Every year we organize a Study Tour abroad to visit distinguished shopping centres. - Every year, we celebrate the Annual Members Meeting in order to facilitate relationships and professional contacts between them. - Publications: the Spanish Directory of Shopping Centres, a Report on Spanish Industry Trends, the monthly magazine Centros and the Newsletter. - Representation of the industry towards Governments, Institutions and the media.
	The AECC binds together people, professionals, companies and institutions in order to create, design, develop and manage Shopping Centers. We are a free and independent non-profit Association of nationwide scope of a sector involving 470 Shopping Centers integrating more than 29,000 retailers with over 1,500 millions of visitors per year.
